The design of the hotel was awarded the prize of the Estonian Association of Interior Decorators for the best interior design.

Hotel Pallas was designed by Krista and Jaak Roosi, the furniture by Uko Künnap. The paintings and drawings were completed by the professors, students and alumni of the Department of Painting at the Tartu School of Fine Arts. The reproductions have also been created by the students of the same school.
